Hotel Mogren is a part of the private company »Mercur System«. It is one of the first hotels in Budva, and it was bulit in the 1930s.Jedan od prvih hotela u Budvi. It has always been regarded as the pearl of the Mediterranean architecture, and it is situated at the very edge of the old part of the town. Almost evety single visitor of the old part of the town and evry guest of the hotel enojyed greatly on its rich, unique Mediterranean terrace (it is famous for it) and that fact made this place something you just must not miss! During the well-known, catastrophic earthquake in 1979, the hotel Mogren was completely destroyed. However, the old part of the town and the hotel rose from the ruins and gained their game and glory during the grand re-opening in 1985 and once again it became the trade marko of the hotel business in Budva and a place that is always packed. Travel Association of Montenegro announced that it was the best hotel in its category in 1994. That position and Because of the constant improvements this company has managed to retain that position for yaers. There are 100 beds in the hotel, and it is situated in the heart of the tourist capital of Montenegro located in the heart of the tourist capital of Montenegro, next to the very walls of the old part of Budva. Just a few hundreds meters away from it (westwards and eastwards) there are three white sand beaches: Mogren, Richard’s head i Pizana. The Austrian embassy has chosen the hotel’s premises to be its headquarters. It is also interesting to mention that the hotel Morgen is a private property and it has been the case since 1935. The hotel Mogren as a part of a company called Merkur System from Budva, which continues the tradition of extremely high-quality hotel and restaurant business in Budva and in Montenegro in general.
There is an extraordinary kitchen in the hotel, also there is a cafe, a bar, self service restaurant, two terraces with the capacity of 800 seats, candy shop, a conference room. In the hotel there are single rooms, double rooms, rooms with three beds, as well as the luxorious suite.
